The Coalition has helped hundreds of women (and men) who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Our experience and knowledge has led us to create a space where you can come for support and education, to learn about issues impacting the breast cancer community, and if desired, to participate in events and advocacy. The Depot, now a quiet, tranquil place giving way to ecological succession, is celebrated for supporting the largest herd of white deer (a recessive form of white-tailed deer) in the world.

Scholastic Arts Spotlight

Scholastic-Arts-Logo-small.pngThe Scholastic Arts Spotlight Award program recognizes outstanding high school juniors and seniors in music, visual arts, dance, and theater in the Greater Rochester Area.  This program spotlights students? accomplishments and talent in an exclusive WROC Channel 8 television campaign,  highlighted by news features and a follow up on-air promo.  Each student featured also receives a $100 savings account from Canandaigua National Bank and 2 tickets to a play at Geva.  The SAS culminates in a reception for all students featured during the school year, and an award in the form of a sculpture created by a local artist.  The committee selects students that represent the very best not only as practicing artists, but by how their personal actions demonstrate the true value of the arts in our community.
