Richard Guon Golf Tournament

August 17, 2015 at Midvale Country Club

The Rochester Broadway Theatre League annually hosts the Richard Guon Memorial Golf Tournament.  The Tournament honors the memory of Richard M. Guon for his involvement with RBTL, having served on the Board of Directors since 1991 and as Chairman from 2004-2007.  He believed in RBTL’s mission to provide opportunities for all people to experience, understand and enjoy the best in arts and performance through its education programs, events, and activities.  He had a passion for arts education and for providing students in the community with a means of being involved with performing arts.  Richard’s motto was “It’s all about the kids.”  Proceeds from the Tournament benefit RBTL’s arts education programs, enabling hundreds of students to participate in the programs in Richard’s name each year.  A luncheon, tournament play, silent and live auction and dinner reception round out the day.
