OPERATION BACKPACK needs YOU!

Back-to-School is right around the corner- and many students in the city of Rochester will be going back to the classroom without the basic supplies for success.

But you can help! By picking up an extra item from any back-to-school aisle- whether it’s pencils or pens, notebooks or art supplies- a single contribution can help prepare these students to make the grade!

Your contributions may be dropped off at any of Operation Backpack’s sponsors throughout the month of August.

Suggested items to donate:

• Backpack

• Pocket folders, various colors

• Composition notebook

• Spiral notebook

• Loose-leaf paper

• 3-ring binder

• #2 pencils

• Colored pencils

• Pencil case

• Eraser

• Handheld pencil sharpener

• Crayons

• Safety scissors

• Ruler

• Washable markers

• Pens (black or blue)

• Glue stick

• Packets of tissues
