Athena Comes Back To Beat Olean

Trojans avenge their only loss of season
Anthony Lamb scored 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds helping Athena come from behind and beat Olean 82-72 at East High School Saturday night. The game was part of East High's annual RAP Invitational. 

Olean led by as many as 14 in the first half and took a 36-25 advantage to the halftime locker room. However, the Trojans scored 29 points in the third quarter alone to pull within two. Athena took the lead for good midway through the fourth quarter and ended up winning going away. 

Will Bathurst led all scorers with 36 points for Olean. He made three of four consecutive three-pointers that Olean hit late in the 2nd quarter to blow open a close game. Sam Ecktrom added 18 points. 

Athena had four other scorers in double figures. Zac DiSalvo finished with 17 points. Peter Florini and Deion Hamilton put up 13 apiece and Jay Sarkis tacked on 11 points. 

The Trojans got revenge for their only loss of the season so far--an 87-71 defeat in Buffalo. Athena is now 15-1.
