Clyde-Savannah's Perfect Season Continues with Sectional Title

Bogan and Faniel each score 20+ as Golden Eagles go 21-0
(1)Clyde-Savannah claimed their 10th sectional title on Saturday with a 74-47 win over (2)Cal-Mum in the Class C2 Final at Blue Cross Arena.

The Golden Eagles are still perfect at 21-0.

Joemaine Bogan was named the tournament MVP. The senior dropped 22 points in the final along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Joe Faniel was the game's high-scorer with 23 points. Kam DiSanto had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds for Clyde-Savannah.

For the game, Clyde-Savannah shot 57.4% (31-54), while Cal-Mum struggled, going 29.0% from the field (18-62).

Cal-Mum was led by Kurtis Haut and his 13 points and 7 rebounds. Will Van Auken was right behind him with 12 points and 7 rebounds.

Clyde-Savannah will play in the Western, NY regional play-in game on Wednesday night at home. They will face the winner of Perry from C3 and Bloomfield from C1. Those two schools will play each other on Monday night at Caledonia-Mumford High School.
