Fairport Hold Off Tough Webster Schroeder

Red Raiders hit ten 3-pointers in 57-47 win
Not many teams can say they've beaten Webster Schroeder. Fairport has now done it twice.

On Friday night, the Red Raiders hit 10 3-pointers and Jamie Wolmering had 17 points and 8 rebounds in a 57-47 win over the Warriors. Fairport is now 11-2 while Schroeder drops to 11-3.

The Warriors cut into a 9-point halftime deficit with some inspired play from Andrew Gopie, who scored 5 straight points to help narrow the gap to 2 points. Gopie finished the night with 13 points but he and the Warriors couldn't convert enough plays to get over the hump. Schroeder forward Emmitt Holt also finished with 13 points.

Fairport had 14 points from Adam Pelusio who also connected on four 3-pointers. Maleek Mason was the other Fairport Red Raider in double figures with 12.
