Fairport's Maleek Mason did a fine job running the Red Raider offense, and finished with 13 points of his own. The Red Raiders well-balanced attack saw eight different players on the scoresheet with three in double-figures. Adam Pries had 11 points while Matt Keenan had 10.
Through a 7-0 run in the second quarter, Fairport was able to take a 32-25 lead into halftime. McQuaid was only able to make up 3 points on that deficit in the second half. Jake Fenlon had a game-high 16 points. Charlie Zaepfel had 14 and Miles Powe chipped in 11 for the Knights.
Fairport will take on (3)Irondequoit in the Class AA semifinal on Wednesday, February 26th at 7:15 from Blue Cross Arena.
