Kearney No Trouble In State Quarters

Bryants goes for 26 in romp
Kharysma Bryant topped the Kings with 26 points as Kearney cruised past Tonawanda 69-48 in the Class B state quarterfinal held at Finger Lakes Community College Saturday afternoon. 

Bishop Kearney led 20-9 after the first quarter and was never challenged. Arianne Smith scored 12 points for the Kings and Rosa Graham chipped in with 11. The score was 58-30 after the third quarter before the Kings took their foot off the gas. 

Kaylyn Compeau paced Tonawanda with 17 points. 

Kearney moves on to Friday's state semifinals at Hudson Valley CC near Albany. The Kings will face Woodlands from Section I at 10am. The winner plays in the state final at 4pm on Saturday.
