Pittsford Outduels Penfield in Class A Semifinals

2nd half hattrick from Barker the difference in 9-6 win
Pittsford and Penfield put on one of the top boy's lacrosse games of the season on Saturday with the Panthers coming out on top 9-6 in the Class A Semifinal.

Pittsford scored the games opening goals with tallies from Stephen Quinzi and Billy Cooper in the opening three minutes of the game.

Penfield leveled the score later in the opening quarter with goals from Carter Jordan and Ryan Fulton.

Mike Perotto and Quinzi scored after that for Pittsford before the end of the opening quarter. Jake Sproule and Max Spaan scored the final two goals of the half for Penfield to make it 4-4 at the break.

Pittsford pulled away in the second half thanks in part to a Brandon Barker hattrick. James Felix and Owen Smith also scored for the Panthers in the second half.

2-seed Pittsford will take on top-seed Fairport in the Class A Final on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:30pm from Webster Schroeder.
