Second Period Burst Enough For Hilton

Cadets twice score pair of goals less than 30 seconds apart to beat Gates-Chili
Hilton broke a scoreless tie with a pair of goals 30 seconds apart in the second period and then scored two more 17 seconds apart later in the period to beat Gates-Chili 4-0 at Genesee Valley Ice Arena Saturday afternoon. 

Jake Palumbo assisted for Ryan Gurski on the first Hilton goal, then Palumbo scored a goal of his own to make it 2-0. Frank Gaffney got the third Cadets goal and then Palumbo followed up quickly again to complete a two goal afternoon. 

Patrick Dennehy made 19 saves for the shutout. 

It was the final regular season game for both teams. Hilton ended the season 18-2 while Gates-Chili finished up 9-11.
