East Rochester Rallies to Tame Lyons

Reynolds 3-point play seals 11th victory for Bombers
In a back-and-forth Saturday showdown, it was the East Rochester girls who prevailed at home over Lyons 42-38.

The Bombers found themselves trailing in the fourth quarter when Megan D'Angelo knocked down a corner 3-pointer, giving the ER a 32-31 lead with under 5 minutes to play.

Lyons would answer right back soon thereafter. Teonna Jenkins' bucket in the paint tied the game at 35. ER retook the lead at the free-throw line, then with 2 mintues remaining, Alli Reynolds had a classic 3-point play to the Bombers in front for good.

Maddy Walsh was the leading scorer for East Rochester with 17 points. Rebecca Slate was a force on the glass, pulling in 13 rebounds to go along with 7 points of her own. The Bombers are now 11-4 with the win. Lyons falls to 9-3. The Lions failed to have a player reach double figures.
