Gates-Chili Runs to Win Over Marshall

McFadden's 2 first quarter TDs Sends Spartans Rolling
Gates-Chili rode on the shoulders of their junior running back Myles McFadden to a comfortable 21-6 win over Marshall.

McFadden rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries to push the Spartans to a 2-4 record. Both of McFadden's TDs came in the first quarter. Gates-Chili did not score again until the 4th quarter when Zach Nathan scampered in from four yards out.

Marshall brought their own heavy-duty running back. Junior Malik Herring rushed for 136 yards. Bernard Brown scored the only points for the Jurists on a one yard plunge. Marshall falls to 2-4 with the loss.
