Geneva Remains Unbeaten After Topping Wayne

Panthers score 27 straight points to beat tough test
Geneva got off to a slow start, but their charge in the second half was enough to outlast Wayne 47-39 and stay unbeaten.

The Panthers (6-0) scored 27 straight points over the second and third quarters thanks to strong work from quarterback Jack Wallwork who went 8-11 passing for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

When Wallwork wasn't leading the charge, his right hand man, running back Joshua Jackson was in command. Jackson battled a nagging ankle injury all night and still racked up 165 yards on the ground and two touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, Malyk Daley-Pinkard was a ballhawk, grabbing two interceptions in the third quarter. Daley-Pinkard also caught four passes for 38 yards and a touchdown as well.

With the loss, Wayne falls to 4-2.
