Irondequoit Hangs On For Win at Sutherland

Clutch FTs allow Eagles to move to 9-1
Dylan Harrington finished with 18 points, but it was the 6 he recorded at the free throw line in the fourth quarter that helped seal a 52-45 win for Irondequoit at Pittstford Sutherland on Friday night.

Irondequoit keeps meeting challenges with efficient play. The Eagles are now 9-1. Wyatt Smith had another impressive night, finishing with 13 for the Eagles.

On the other side, Sutherland made it a game late in the fourth quarter. The deficit was cut to three points with under a minute to go, but the Knights could not get over the hump. Ben Swisher led the Knights with a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Pascal Manigat had a team-high 15 points. Sutherland falls to 5-6 with the loss.
