Late Turnover Gives Hilton Win At R-H

Jack Anten's 2nd TD difference in 21-17 victory
Ryan Streb jumped on a muffed punt at the Rush-Henrietta 17 yard line and Hilton cashed in with the game winning TD in a 21-17 victory in Henrietta Saturday afternoon.

Jack Anten snuck in from one yard out to put the Cadets on top midway through the fourth quarter. R-H had two chances to answer, but penalties left the Royal Comets in an unrecoverable 2nd and 35 on the first possession. John Letta snuffed out the second with an interception.

Hilton converted a 4th and 1 with just over a minute to play that effectively ended the game.

Anten rushed for two TDs and completed five passes for 73 yards. Dillon Philmon led Hilton on the ground with 115 yards and a touchdown.

Jared Gerbino completed 16 of 18 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort for R-H. He also ran for 49 yards. Joseph Ortiz caught ten of those passes for 153 yards and the go-ahead TD in the third quarter. The 15-yard play put the Comets on top 17-14, but proved to be their final points for the day.

Rush-Henrietta falls to 4-2 while Hilton gets back to .500 at 3-3.
