3rd Period Tally Sends Penfield by Churchville-Chili

Deflected goal gives Pats their 1st win
Time and again in hockey, putting the puck on net leads to good results. 8:43 into the 3rd period, Penfield's Brian Wall shot the puck on target and it deflected off teammate Alex Dagostino's skate into the net. The goal was the difference in a 2-1 win for the Patriots over Churchville-Chili.

The Saints scored the game's first goal with a Tanner Metcalfe tally with 57 seconds left in the 1st period. Penfield tied things up with 58 seconds left in the 2nd period thanks to a power play goal from Jacob Sproule.

Penfield goalie James Krystofik recorded 18 saves in the win. Penfield is now 1-1-0, while Churchville-Chili falls to 0-1-0.
