Confirmed Case Of Whooping Cough At Victor HS

There has been a confirmed case of pertussis, better known as whooping cough, at Victor High School.
There has been a confirmed case of pertussis, better known as whooping cough, at Victor High School.

The Victor School District superintendent sent out a letter to parents Tuesday making them aware of the finding. The district says the student has not had any contact with any students outside the school. Doctors say whooping cough has been moving across New York State epidemically for the past year. Symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, low fever and an increasingly persistent cough.
