Conquering Cancer

A local community is fundraising for a three- year-old girl whom is battling Stage 4 cancer.
It is one of the rarest and most understood forms of childhood cancer.

Hundreds of friends, family members and even strangers gathered Saturday to help three- year-old Jillian Moore with her fight against Neuroblastoma cancer.

Jillian and her family are originally from Rochester, but are currently residing in Las Vegas.

She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in July 2011, and the family is struggling with raising funds for her medical bills.

That is where Saturday's fundraiser stepped in.

Jillian will receive a bone marrow transplant December.

The family says they hope to come back to Rochester to continue treatment at Strong Memorial Hospital.
