Allison comes to News 8 from WKTV-NewsChannel 2 in Utica, New York. While in Utica, Allison was a weekend anchor and reporter who covered award winning stories such as the heroin epidemic in Central New York and how parole officers monitor sex offenders on Halloween. She received two New York State AP awards and a Syracuse Press Club award.

Allison was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia. She attended Rutgers University, majoring in journalism and media studies. While at Rutgers, Allison interned at five major news stations including WABC in New York City and WPVI in Philadelphia, PA. 

Allison also spent four months in Rome, Italy where she interviewed Amanda Knox's attorney and won first place in an editorial contest. 

When Allison is not working and immersing herself in news, you can find her in the gym, running (she ran her first half marathon this year,) or hanging with friends, family and her cats! Allison is a huge animal lover!
