A Very Special Graduation Day

A Very Special Graduation Day

It was for children living with life threatening medical conditions and developmental disabilities.
Daystar in Rochester held a moving up and graduation ceremony. The center provides full-time care for children living with life-threatening medical conditions and developmental disabilities. Thirty three kids under five years old graduated. Aside from the ceremony, there was a reception with families, and a musical performance.

"This is a great celebration. This is a celebration of our families too who support the children through all of these milestones, and this is a big moment, because they work so hard all year round on their developmental skills, and really working hard on improving themselves, and meeting their potential," said Kim Condon, Daystar Executive Director.

Daystar is New York State's first and only provider of pediatric day respite services for children under the age of five.
