Aquinas, Kearney Set For Battle Of Unbeatens

Rivalry between Kings and Lil' Irish may feature most talent ever
Both teams have more than one player who likely will play Division One basketball. Both teams have no losses. Both teams have high expectations.

Both teams will be in the same gym Wednesday night.

Aquinas hosts Kearney to renew a rivalry that almost always produces close, thrilling games. This year, both teams have enough elite talent to make the game look like a college-level game. They will even use three referees like a college game (Section Five games normally employ only two).

Kearney will be without star center Chinonso Obokoh, who suffered a foot injury in practice, but the rest of the big-time players are all healthy.

The game has been sold out since Saturday. Both teams are looking forward to it. Thad Brown has a preview.
