Our own Mark Gruba brought his appetite to the contest. The "Jeremiah's Gives Youth Wings to Fly" competition was a race to see who could eat 10 hot wings the fastest.

"Giving youth wings to fly. How cute is that theme coming together and remembering why we do these things. It's always fun.. but the truth is we're raising dollars for our homeless kids and center for youth," Executive Director Center for The Youth Elaine Spaull said.

The Rochester Police Department defeated the Rochester Fire Department in the "Rochester's Finest" wing eating round. The day's chicken wing champion was Nicky Colligan, who won a trip for two to Las Vegas.
