Big 4th Quarter Carries Fisher

Cards score 3 TDs in final 15 minutes of 33-25 win over Cortland
Fisher scored three TDs in a row to rally from a 17-14 4th quarter deficit and beat Cortland 33-25 Saturday afternoon at Growney Stadium.

The run was kick-started by a trick play. Trailing by three, Ryan Kramer took a handoff and threw a pass to Nathan Nigolian at the five yard line. Two plays later, Fisher QB Tyler Fenti threw a five yard scoring pass to Nigolian that gave Fisher the lead for good.

Cortland then fumbled on the next two possessions and Fisher cashed in each turnover for a touchdown. Kramer scored first on a two yard run and Cody Miller made it 33-17 on a three yard scamper.

The Red Dragons made it interesting late, getting a touchdown and two point conversion with just under three minutes to go. However, Fisher recovered the ensuing onside kick and ran out the clock to win.

Fenti finished with 395 total yards, two touchdowns passing and one rushing. Kramer made 11 catches and Nigolian led the Cardinals with 110 yards receiving.

Fisher stays perfect at 3-0, while Cortland drops to 1-2.
