Canandaigua Rallies For Semifinal Win Over Churchville-Chili

Braves now one win from back-to-back Section V titles
Canandaigua overcame an early deficit to Churchville-Chili to win 14-12 in the Class B semifinals at Webster Schroeder on Saturday.

Upsets have been hard to come by in the Section V playoffs in boy's lacrosse. Entering Saturday, of the 24 playoff games played, only two games were won by lower seeds.

The Saints started the game with the contest's first four goals. Canandaigua responded with a run of their own and found themselves trailing 8-7 at halftime.

Canandaigua closed the game out on a 7-3 run. Eric Munn led the Braves with five goals and four assists. Brian Feldman also added four goals for CA.

2-seed Canandaigua will take on top-seed Victor in the Class B Final on Tuesday, May 27th at 3:45 from Webster Schroeder.
