A non-profit that serves people recovering from mental illness and substance abuse is honoring RIT for its commitment to building a healthier community.
East House, a non-profit in Rochester that serves people recovering from mental illness and substance abuse, is honoring RIT for being a community partner. For 18 years, RIT has hosted the East House Enrichment Program, which brings individuals in recovery to RIT for a 2-week college experience every summer. The program is designed to inspire independence through education.
