EPA Moves Forward With Braddock Bay Project

The agency will allocate $575,000 towards restoring wetlands and building a new barrier beach.
The Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to move forward with the Braddock Bay project.  The bay is located near East Manitou road in Greece.

Senator Schumer's office says the agency will allocate $575,000 dollars to build a new barrier beach and restore wetlands.  Schumer says the project will make it easier for boaters and fishers to get to Lake Ontario and boost property vales of homes around the bay.  Schumer says he will push for nearly $7 million dollars more for construction costs.
