FORECAST: FRONT LOITERS THIS WEEKEND

Decent weather over the weekend but there will be some showers and storms, especially on Sunday.

OCTOBER PRECIPITATION:  0.29"

SATURDAY SUNRISE:  7:13 AM

SATURDAY SUNSET:  6:44 PM

A developing storm system in the nation's heartland right now will eventually draw warmer air into the region for the second half of the weekend. With that though, there will be a lot of clouds, some fog and a
few showers around from time to time, especially today and again later Saturday night into Sunday morning as the warm front flirts with us and then should finally cross the region during the first part of Sunday.
Highs on Saturday will only be into the low 70s at best since we will be on the cooler side of the warm front still. There may be a couple of showers/storm popping later in the day Saturday, but for the most part
Saturday looks mainly dry. After the rain to start Sunday there should be at least limited sun sneaking through Sunday afternoon before the main round of showers and storms moves in later Sunday night into
the start of Monday with a strong cold front. In the wake of the cold front, a more seasonable air mass will blow in during the day Monday and then it appears the air will slowly modify as next week progresses
under lots of sun!

SATURDAY:  Early fog will give way to a mostly cloudy sky and possibly a shower/storm or two late.

HIGH:  67

SUNDAY:  Windy and turning warmer and more humid after some showers and storms kick off the day with the passage of a warm front.

HIGH:  80

MONDAY:  Periods of rain, windy and warm.

HIGH:  79
