SEPTEMBER PRECIPITATION: 0.38"
TUESDAY SUNRISE: 6:37 AM
TUESDAY SUNSET: 7:42 PM
Today will be the first time in 8 days that we will not make 80 degrees or higher, as highs will only hit the low 70s with a gusty, cool breeze, lots of clouds and a few spotty showers/sprinkles around. Yes, fall will be in the air for sure today as we unofficially begin the fall season. High pressure will build in Tuesday night into much of Wednesday, with more in the way of sun through the early to mid afternoon, before more clouds roll in from the north in advance of a strong backdoor cold front that's expected to cross the area late Wednesday night/early Thursday with a few showers. In the wake of the Wednesday night cold front, the coolest air mass since last spring will blow in on a stiff northerly wind for Thursday with a morning lake shower or two possible, and highs only making it to near 65! Another warm up will follow for Friday afternoon and Saturday with a good deal of sun Friday. Highs Friday should make the low 70s, while low 80s are possible come Saturday afternoon with a gusty, warming breeze expected Saturday! Much cooler air will follow again Sunday into the start of next week. The chances of rain will not exist Friday, a few showers/storm will be possible late Saturday and a couple of lake showers will be possible for the start of Sunday, but overall at this point it looks like the majority of the weekend will be dry. Stay tuned.
TODAY: More clouds than sun, breezy and much cooler with a few spotty showers around.
TONIGHT: It will become mainly clear and seasonably cool.
WEDNESDAY: Sunshine will fade behind more clouds later in the day with a slight risk for a shower near sunset.
THURSDAY: Breezy and very cool with a lake shower or two possible to start the day followed by some more sun.
