The Rochester Fringe Festival announced its 2014 lineup. The festival is in its third year and runs from September 18 to 27.
The festival features more than 380 shows. Some of them are right on the street. Others are in some more unique spaces.
"We have a show called Dashboard Dramas which will take place in four parked cars at the corner of Gibbs and Main outside the Speigeltent," said promoter Erica Fee. "You as an audience member will spend 10 minutes in each car and then move to the next car, so it's actually a 45 minute show."
Bandaloop will not be back this year. The big public act taking its place is Circus Orange, which puts on a massive pyrotechnic show.
The Fringer Festival attracted 50,000 people last year, making it new York's largest multi-arts festival. It's tied as being the largest in the country.
