A Geneva woman is facing animal cruelty charges after Humane Society investigators found dead cats in her home.

Monnie Zepkowski, 57, was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals. The Ontario County Humane Society says four of her cats were found dead inside a home in Phelps. Three others were found severely malnourished. They say Zepkowski did not provide food or water. The living cats are being treated at a veterinary hospital. She will appear in Phelps Town Court to answer to the charges.
