Get your lottery ticket as soon as you can! The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to a staggering $586 million for Tuesday's drawing. The current record jackpot in $656 million, split between three Mega Millions players in 2012. According to the lottery company, the odds of getting all six numbers for this drawing is about one in $259 million. The cash payout will be $316.5 million.

Talk about a door-buster sale- shoppers in Ohio were so eager to get a pair of the new Air Jordans that they knocked the doors off their hinges as they headed into the store. Employees at Champs Sports handed out vouchers for the new shoes. They cost $170 and shoppers will have to pick them up next week. Extra police were brought in to help with crowd control. Despite the stampeded, no one was hurt. 

General Motors is spending $600 million on a new paint shop and other improvements at its plant in Flint, Michigan. GM Assembly Manager Amy Farmer says its an investment in the company's future. The upgrades at the Flint plant are part of more than $1 billion in investments GM announced Monday. General Motors officials say the investment will create or retain 1,000 jobs at five different facilities.
