Green Party's Howie Hawkins Runs for Governor

Hawkins stopped by the News 8 studio to discuss his platform.
Howie Hawkins is running for governor again on the Green Party line. His 2010 effort garnered 60,000 votes, placing him third. 

Hawkins, who lives in Syracuse and works for UPS unloading trucks, stopped by the News 8 studio to discuss his platform. He has major concerns with Common Core and would legalize marijuana. He also says he's in favor of gun rights, but wants to keep guns out of the wrong hands.
