It's a no kill shelter run only by volunteers, with a personal touch. The shelter goes through a process to make sure each dog finds a good home. Their goal is to make sure both the dog and the family are a good fit for each other. Directors of the shelter say at the end of the day it's very rewarding. "I guess the most satisfying part is to see dogs that come in here that don't have homes that we can find families for we get to make sure its the right fit for them so it's a forever home," Shelter Director Dave Maynard said.
Volunteers say social media has played a huge part in helping many of the dogs find a good home. You can find a link to their Facebook page by clicking here.
