School lunches are shaping up to look a whole lot different this fall. It's all thanks to new federal regulations going into effect. The rules call for more fruits and vegetables and less sodium in each meal but experts say the boost in nutrition is going to take a toll on school budgets. Debbi Beauvais, the Northeast Director of the New York Food Nutrition Association, said, "when the whole regulations took place we were given six cents a meal, tell me where you can buy a fresh apple for six cents. It's a very clear challenge. My produce costs have more than doubled over the last two years of the regulations."
