From the Ibero-American Action League:

On Saturday, June 14, 2014, Ibero-American Action League, Inc - will host its 19th Annual Hispanic Scholarship Awards Gala.

The purpose of this event is to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of local Hispanic students who will receive scholarships from Ibero's - "Hispanic Endowment Fund" and
other entities that have partnered with Ibero to support the academic advancements of local Hispanic students. This year over 53 students will receive scholarships; the most ever. Ibero
will recognize students from the city and surrounding school districts.

The Hispanic Scholarship Endowment Fund was created in 1985 to provide financial support for the educational endeavors of Hispanic youth in the Rochester area. The Fund was established
with the Rochester Area Community Foundation (RACF), which administers all contributions in a permanent endowment.

Within the past years other individuals, companies, colleges, universities and families have joined in the effort and have become scholarship donors. Since its inception, hundreds of
students have received scholarships via this initiative. The last eighteen years the students have been recognized at Ibero's Annual Gala. This is Ibero's largest fundraising event.

Hilda Escher, President and CEO of Ibero-American Action League, Inc, states; "Ibero is honored to be able to recognize such bright students. It gives us a great pleasure to be part of their
academic endeavors. As accustomed, every year the agency takes the opportunity to highlight and present performances from a different Hispanic country; this year the country of Spain is
being featured. A Spanish guitar player and dancers authentic to this country will perform".
