Jim Kelly to Have Surgery Thursday

Former Buffalo Bills Quarterback and Hall of Famer Jim Kelly will undergo surgery this Thursday in his fight against jaw cancer. Kelly has already been flown to Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. Kelly is said to be weak and in bad shape.

On Sunday, Jill Kelly posted a photo of the family in the hospital watching on line, the Sunday service at the Chapel at Crosspoint. She said she was  "Overwhelmed and humbled to watch Pastor Jerry and our congregation family kneel in prayer for our family...to be prayed for by name. We were on our knees too and our nurse asked if she could join us in prayer...and she did."

Jill Kelly wrote last Friday that her huband's cancer is aggressive and spreading.

Jim Kelly had part of his jaw and teeth removed last June, when his oral cancer was found.

Two weeks ago a return visit found the cancer had returned.
