Knighthawks Turn Rock To Pebbles

Rochester scores 11 straight to pound Toronto

With three minutes to play in the second quarter, the Knighthawks trailed 7-5. 

With two minutes to play in the third quarter, the Knighthawks led 16-7. 

Rochester ran off 11 consecutive goals to beat the Rock 17-9 in Toronto Saturday night. 

It was the first home loss of the year for Toronto and the first road victory for Rochester. The Knighthawks also broke a 7-game regular season losing streak in Canada. 

Cody Jamieson started the run and scored three times during it. Stephen Keough scored the goal that gave Rochester the lead for good and also scored three of the 11 in a row. 

Jamieson finished with five goals and five assists. Keough scored four times. Dan Dawson didn't score at all, but assisted on a staggering ten of the K-Hawks' 17 goals. 

The Knighthawks are now 5-2 and next play in Calgary on Saturday, February 22nd.
