Kodak will fork over millions of dollars to help clean up Eastman Business Park.

The company has agreed to pay $49 million to clean the Genesee River. That money will also go towards any other maintenance needed at the business park. The agreement with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) was previously approved as part of Kodak's bankruptcy reorganization. It's a move that is expected to help draw in lots of business for Rochester.

"This is very good news because this could creates hundreds, if not thousands of jobs in the Rochester area," Sen. Chuck Schumer said.

As part of the agreement, New York State will pay an additional $50 million to cleanup the business park if the extra money is needed.
