Rochester has the money it needs to complete a full dredging of the Port of Rochester and Irondequoit Bay.
Rochester has the money it needs to complete a full dredging of the Port of Rochester and Irondequoit Bay. 

More than $2 million has been secured to have the Army Corp of Engineers dredge the waterways. Removing sediment from the waterways will allow easier navigation for ships and boats. About $2 million worth of goods are imported at the Port of Rochester each year. The last dredging took place in 2008.
