National Eating Disorder Awareness Week

Local advocates pushing for funding for treatment centers.
It is National Eating Disorder Awareness Week.

In Rochester, the Western New York Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders is on the front lines of helping men and women recover. It is located at University of Rochester's School of Nursing.

Director Dr. Mary Tantillo went to Albany Tuesday to ask lawmakers to maintain funding for the program. She brought Alyssa Morales, 17, with her. Alyssa is recovering from anorexia.
