New York State Senate Supports New Handicapped Signs

Governor Cuomo has not said whether he would approve the new signs or not.
The New York State Senate is throwing its support behind changing handicapped signs.  If signed by Governor Cuomo, new signs will show a person in motion instead of the traditional wheelchair bound character.  The word "handicapped" will also be removed.  It's already passed in the assembly.
This would only impact new signs.

Governor Cuomo has not said whether he will sign it.
