Orange Get Ready For Butler

No Onuaku, but Boeheim gives plenty of reasons to hope
On Tuesday, Jim Boeheim won coach of the year for the third time in his hall of fame career. He provides Syracuse with an intangible, a confidence as they hit the floor. Andy Rautins was asked if having Boeheim on the bench is an edge for the Orange. "A huge edge," Rautins said. "To know that youve got a hall of famer on your bench. He has so many accolades under his belt, including the coach of the year, which is well deserved for sometime now. Whatever he says goes out there, we put our faith in him and we go out and execute whatever he says." "Transferring and coming here and learning stuff like I learned when I sat out that whole year and just playing for him. Its been a blessing," Wes Johnson added. "Its been fun." Syracuse heads into their game with Butler Thursday feeling good after easy wins in the opening two rounds. "Right now, we feel like we can win the whole thing," Rick Jackson said. "Guys are practicing hard. I think were looking good out there. Theres a lot of confidence right now. I think were playing our best basketball weve been playing in a long time. I think were just gonna keep moving on." You can see the game on CBS and Channel 8 beginning at 7:07pm Thursday night.
