Overtime Needed for Edison to Squeeze Past Brighton

6-seed Inventors have three players in double-figures in 63-61 win
(6)Edison went deep in their bag of tricks and it was Cortez Frye Jr's corner 3-pointer with 30 seconds that sent the game to overtime before the Inventors beat (2)Brighton 63-61 in the Class A1 semifinal on Tuesday night from Blue Cross Arena.

Frye Jr. also had the game-sealing steal in overtime. He finished the night with 12 points. Quan Colbert led Edison with 20 points. Raliek Redd chipped in 10.

Brighton's Courtney Clyburn kept the Barons in the game with vital points in the paint. He wrapped up the night with a game-high 24 points.

Brighton trailed 40-30 at halftime and turned up their defense after the break. The Barons held Edison to only 17 points in the second half. Unfortunately for them, their offense could not get much going in overtime and were outscored 6-4 in the extra four minutes.

Edison will take on the winner of (1)East and (4)Pittsford Mendon in the Class A1 Final on Sunday, March 2nd at 1:00 from Blue Cross Arena.
