PRETTY GOOD START TO WEEK

Some sun & comfortably warm temperatures with just a slight risk for a passing shower through the early afternoon, mainly south and east of Rochester.

AUGUST PRECIPITATION:  1.96"

MONDAY SUNRISE:  6:21 AM

MONDAY SUNSET:  8:07 PM

After a great weekend, there is some moisture across Pennsylvania and a weak disturbance passing through today will try to set off a spotty shower here in WNY today, but most, if not all, of the day should be dry with more summery temperatures on tap. Highs today will make the low 80s once again.  After a quiet and comfortable night tonight it looks like the heat will build along with a little more humidity Tuesday and Wednesday, with the heat likely peaking on Wednesday with lots of sun expected to boot.  Highs should make it to near 85 Tuesday, and mid to upper 80s Wednesday.

On Thursday, a few storms will likely pop-up during the afternoon out ahead of a cold front. In the wake of the Thursday night/early Friday frontal passage will be followed by a cooler and much more comfortable air mass again by Friday and into the upcoming weekend!

TODAY:  Slight risk of a spotty shower, mainly across areas south and east of Rochester through the early, otherwise it looks good with some sun and comfortable warm readings.

HIGH:  82

TONIGHT:  Partly cloudy.

LOW:  59

TUESDAY:  Mostly sunny and warmer.

HIGH:  85

WEDNESDAY:  Breezy, mostly sunny, more humid and feeling like mid-summer!

HIGH:  88
