Special Summer Camp Coming for Rochester Kids

The camp program focuses on living a healthy lifestyle.
Rochester city students now have a unique opportunity to stay active and practice healthy eating habits.  The Greater Rochester Health Foundation, Monroe Community College, and the Rochester City School District have partnered together to start a special summer camp for city school students.  Organizers say the program focuses on learning a healthy lifestyle through an academic and personal development approach.

John Urban, the Greater Rochester Health Foundation CEO and President, said, "This is one of the few programs in the community that integrates the need for healthy living, with reinforcing the need for education. And what can be better that bringing those two things together?"

The five week program is held at Monroe Community College and is open for students ages six to thirteen.
