Rochester Police have identified the victim of a weekend homicide on the city's northwest side.
Rochester Police have identified the victim of a weekend homicide on the city's northwest side. 

Police say Louis Staples III, 20, was shot in broad daylight on the 400 block of Lyell Avenue Saturday. The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. Police say Staples suffered a gunshot wound to the torso. He died at Strong Hospital. Staple's death marks the 10th homicide and the second shooting death on Lyell Avenue this year.
