Vigil Held in Rochester for Brittanee Drexel

Family and friends gather to mark 5-year anniversary of Brittanee Drexel's disappearance.

With every passing year, it takes a toll on the Drexel family.

Brittanee Drexel's mother, Dawn, has moved to Myrtle Beach to help with the investigation.

Brittanee's dad, Chad, is still in the Rochester area.

He planned a Saturday night's vigil because he wants the community to know that his family has not lost hope.

He still believes that Brittanee may be found alive one day.

Family and friends gathered at Ontario Beach Park to say prayers, light candles, and release balloons in Brittanee's honor.

This is a significant anniversary for the Drexel family because it has been 5 years since the 17-year old went missing in Myrtle Beach during a spring break trip with friends.

Chad Drexel says he continues stays in touch with the Myrtle Beach Police Department and hopes anyone who may have knew information will get in touch.
