CITY FORECAST: HUMID, PLENTY OF DRY TIME TODAY

A few showers or a storm will try to pop this afternoon, mainly along lake breeze boundaries.

AUGUST RAIN: 2.01"

THURSDAY SUNRISE:  6:23 AM

THURSDAY SUNSET:  8:04 PM

A slow moving storm system will keep us a little unsettled today and tomorrow, and to a certain extent into the first half of the weekend. A few showers this afternoon will pop along lake breeze boundaries, in the Niagara Frontier and Genesee Valley inland. That being said, there will be LOTS of dry time during the day. A few showers linger into Friday, but most of the day will be rain-free. The weekend is looking better and better, although a stationary front lingers just off to our west, so it's an extremely close call on rain. At this point, we will see an afternoon shower on Saturday, then partly cloudy and dry on Sunday. Stay tuned!

THURSDAY:  Muggy again with a few showers or storms during the afternoon.

HIGH:  78

FRIDAY:  Mostly cloudy with a stray shower or two.

HIGH:  79

SATURDAY:  Some sun and warm, isolated storm possible in the afternoon.

HIGH:  80
