What is the Paycheck Fairness Act?

The U.S. Senate could vote on the Paycheck Fairness Act, a measure that would attempt to close the pay gap between men and women. 

The proposal would more clearly define what constitutes pay discrimination, step up enforcement, increase education and allow workers to discuss their pay without retaliation.
