It may be a first or even third tor of duty overseas for local Army National Guard soldiers but it takes some time to adjust and reintegrate into civilian life. The Yellow Ribbon Campaign supports the troops with a toolkit to use at home. It includes information about benefits, healthcare and family support.

"I think it's hard when you first come home and everyone is trying to grab a piece of your time," Lt. Joshua Spencer said. "You want to be there for everybody and you know that it is just as important for them as it is for you and you just want to get back into your life."

Soldiers' children also get help dealing with mom or dad coming home. The program runs through Sunday.
