The Rochester RazorSharks are not buying the Dome Arena in Henrietta. The president of the Monroe County Fair Association says the RazorSharks did not meet the terms of sales, so it was terminated. The association has owned the arena for more than 40 years. Right now, the Dome is being rented out about once a month to cover maintenance costs.

"We are all set with the property. The paperwork is all in order on our part so there's no issues on our side. We're just looking for someone to come through and get this asset and do something with it so we can just concentrate on doing the fair," president Sarah Colby said.

News 8 reached out to the owner of the Rochester RazorSharks, but he has not returned our call. The town of Henrietta has expressed interest in buying the property. They are not in formal talks with the association, but Town Supervisor Jack Moore says he has asked to have the building appraised.
